The Education & Programming Committee of the Carolinas LGBT Chamber of Commerce is in the process of organizing our Lunch & Learn Series and other annual educational events for the upcoming year. In an effort to provide all of our members with the opportunity to bid as a caterer for our events, we are asking interested participants to submit the following Request for Catering Proposal form. The Education & Programming Committee will then review all submissions and be in touch.
As you complete this form and put together pricing, please keep in mind the following expectations/information from the committee…
- We are looking for 2 businesses to cater our Lunch & Learn series for the year. Each business will be responsible for 5 events. The Lunch & Learn events take place on the second Wednesday of each month, February to November.
- A minimum of 20 orders will be placed for each Lunch & Learn event. Final count will be sent the Friday before each Wednesday event.
- Previous food options for the Lunch & Learns include boxed lunches; sandwiches with chips and a cookie; hot buffet items such as fajitas and/or tacos; etc.
- Each order should include 1 vegan option.
- Drinks for each event just need to include sweet/unsweet tea and water.
- Each caterer should provide all necessary paper products, cutlery, cups, and ice.
- Delivery to the venue space will be required. Events will take place at the Impact Center off of Exit 33 on I-85.
- Presentation and quality of food should be strongly considered for each proposal. We want our attendees to see that the lunch was professionally done.
